The Recipe is Called Kitchen Scrap Cookies. The Recipe comes from the Like Merchant Ships Meredith Saturday February 25th,2006 I will post the ingredients. 1/2 cup butter 3/4 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 cup cold cooked oatmeal 1-1/4 cup flour(using 1 cup WW pastry flour makes a crisper cookies) 1/2tsp of salt 1/2tsp bkg. soda 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla At least 1 cup leftovers such as chopped apples, raisins, coconut, etc. Ut to 1 additional cup uncooked oats, rolled or steel cut. Steps. Cream butter, sugar, egg, vanilla. Sift Flour, salt, soda, and cinnamon. Add to wet mix. Gently combine batter with cooked oatmeal and add-inn's. The finished batter should have a semi-stiff consistency, or stay rounded as you drop the teaspoons on the sheet. Bake at 350F 12-15 minutes on lightly greased cookie sheet until edges are browned. Enjoy them now--they won't be any leftovers from these.
